Our Story

Intellect Tea was born from our deep love for tea and a strong desire to share its exceptional quality with the world. Our journey began in August 2018 when we made a big decision to completely stop drinking alcohol. We realized that people often turn to alcohol to cope with stress or celebrate good times. But we started questioning this habit and decided to replace alcohol with something more beneficial - learning about cognitive and brain sciences. Since studying requires a lot of focus, we also gave up alcohol because it didn’t fit with our goals. Plus, we wanted to avoid the extra calories from alcohol, so we turned to intermittent fasting.

However, we felt like something was missing. We needed a product that would inspire us, never get boring, and be safe for our health. At the same time, we were searching for ways to improve and extend our lives. Gradually, tea became our go-to drink, even replacing coffee. We noticed that after drinking coffee, we felt irritated, while tea provided a gentle, long-lasting energy boost. This shift led us to explore different teas, not just from Japan, but also from China, Thailand, Georgia, and Taiwan. To delve deeper into tea, we joined the Global Japanese Tea Association, which provides education and a tea community for true tea lovers.

As we experimented with various teas, we discovered that certain types had unique effects that positively impacted our lives and work. Tea became an essential part of our daily routine, offering us focus, motivation, and overall well-being. From our experience, more than 90% of the teas on the market don’t meet our needs - they might taste good, but that’s about it. From the remaining 10%, we choose only the best teas that provide specific benefits for the body.

Finding great tea isn’t easy. We’ve traveled across Japan and Thailand, where we encountered rich traditions and the meticulous craftsmanship behind some of the finest teas in the world. We saw a chance to create a brand that not only delivers exceptional tea but also helps people improve their quality of life, advance in their studies or work, and overcome bad habits or stress. Even this text was written in one creative burst after enjoying a fragrant tea from southern Japan.
